When should you seek medical advice?

Get advice from a doctor or medical facility by phone or video if you suspect you have been infected. If you have been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with the virus, you should not see a doctor in person.

A COVID-19 disease can cause mild symptoms to severe respiratory problems with fever and cough, as well as shortness of breath.

Of course, as always, the following applies: Contact an emergency room or the rescue service if you find it difficult to breathe – but in any case inform the staff there by phone beforehand.

But even with milder symptoms, it is advisable to seek medical advice if you suffer from respiratory problems and

  • you have had contact with a person in the last two weeks who has been clearly infected with the coronavirus
  • or you suffer from a respiratory illness
  • or your symptoms worsen and you e.g. B. suffer from shortness of breath or high fever
  • or you come into contact with people at work or in your voluntary work who belong to the risk groups, e.g. B. if you work in the hospital or in nursing

At Med-Healths, while we cannot offer you help in the form of a test for SARS-CoV-2, our doctors can support you by advising you on symptoms and coordinating around the testing process and diagnostics. In addition, we are currently offering free medical advice to all patients with COVID-19 symptoms.

Simply select your relevant symptoms in the app under the COVID-19 symptom category and book an appointment.
