Who should be vaccinated – and who shouldn’t? How likely are side effects? What do I have to consider in the case of pre-existing conditions? The Covid-19 vaccinations raise many questions that are best answered individually – and the need for information is great. That’s why Med-Healths now offers free corona vaccination advice: Talk to our experienced doctors via video and get your questions answered from the comfort of your own home.
To date, around 2.8 million people in Germany have received a first vaccination and 1.5 million have received a second vaccination. The mRNA vaccines from BioNTech and Moderna as well as the vector vaccine from AstraZeneca were used. Many people are still not sure whether they want to be vaccinated – also because of possible risks and side effects. If you have open questions about the Covid-19 vaccines, a medical vaccination consultation can provide clarity.
“Through the individual vaccination advice, every patient has the opportunity to get medical information about the Covid-19 vaccines and to weigh up the advantages and disadvantages objectively. Our doctors provide neutral advice and refer to the latest scientific findings,” says Dr. medical Monika Gratzke, Medical Director at Med-Healths.
Who can use the corona vaccination advice at Med-Healths?
Anyone who would like to be vaccinated against Covid-19 can get information from a doctor at Med-Healths about the effect, administration and possible risks and side effects of the vaccines. You can use the app to book a vaccination consultation at any time and find out more in advance – even if you don’t have a Covid 19 vaccination appointment yet. The consultation is free of charge for you, regardless of whether you have statutory or private insurance.
Which questions can I ask during the vaccination consultation – and which not?
Our doctors will advise you on the following topics:
- Mechanism of action of the Covid-19 vaccines
- Indication for certain pre-existing conditions
- risks and side effects
- general recommendations for prioritization
They refer to current scientific findings and the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).
Please note that the vaccination dates are organized by the individual federal states. We can therefore not make appointments in vaccination centers and cannot issue medical certificates for prioritization.
