Where does Med-Health come from?
Med-Health started in Sweden in 2015 and has since grown into a global healthcare company. Med-Health is the European market leader in the field of digital doctor visits. For this we cooperate with local doctors and pharmacies. We have already been able to successfully treat over 3 million patients. Med-Health has been available in USA since December 2019.
How did Med-Health come about?
Johannes, one of the founders of Med-Health, had a sore throat for a long time that just wouldn’t go away. He always needed a doctor’s appointment. He noticed how difficult it was to get an appointment that fit into his schedule. While sitting in a bar with 2 friends one night, the idea for Med-Health came up: wouldn’t it be awesome to have an app that allows you to easily talk to a doctor on your phone?

Who Works at Med-Health?
Our doctors have completed specialist training, a German license to practice medicine and many years of practical experience. In addition to their work at Med-Health, they regularly work in doctors’ offices and hospitals. They are extensively trained for the video consultation hours and regularly take part in further training.
